Dho Namkhai Kaw is the sacred place of Guru Rinpoche. A ritual bell is said to be hanging behind the monolith. It is said that even today, a fortunate person can hear the bell ringing without the slightest breeze, while a fortunate person will not hear even when there is a strong wind. The village near Dho Namkhai Kaw is called Zhabjaythang (footprint ground) as one can see the footprint of Guru Rinpoche. The prints are said to have been left behind while prostrating to a box of relics on the left side of Dho Namkhai Kaw. The key to this box is believed to be in the Buri River. On one of the hills above the village, a self-formed sacred bodily part of Guru Rinpoche, footprints of Dakini, and an elephant head can be seen.
