According to local tradition, in the presence of Lotsawa, Choegyel Songtsen Gyembo, and the royal entourage, Guru Rinpoche prophesied that this sacred site would bring immense blessings and prosperity to devoted pilgrims. He identified the meditation cliffs, caves, and sacred spring in the upper Korphu and Nabi valleys as places of profound spiritual significance, where the holy water is believed to cleanse the five poisons. The site also contains numerous sacred imprints and relics, including Guru Rinpoche's footprints, meditation seat, tiger-face rock, subdued demon, natural cooking stones, and a lhakhang housing his sacred body image. Guru Rinpoche further prophesied that those who visit the site with sincere devotion would be blessed with good health, longevity, prosperity, and ultimately attain Buddhahood in their next life.
